About Gloco.ai
We are building the future of global product compliance. Gloco.ai is a specialized SaaS platform automating the rigorous e-filing requirements for US agencies (CPSC, FDA, FCC). We don't just "chat" with documents; we build intelligent agents that navigate complex regulatory frameworks, structure messy data, and ensure critical compliance for global brands.
The Mission
We are looking for an energetic and inventive AI Engineer who is obsessed with Agentic Workflows. You aren't satisfied with simple API wrappers; you want to build the "nervous system" of our platform.
You will bridge the gap between flexible AI reasoning and our structured database architecture. You will design agents that can plan, reason, query our MongoDB instances intelligently, and execute multi-step workflows to solve real-world professional problems.
What You Will Do
• Architect Autonomous Agents: Design and deploy AI agents that can handle complex, stateful tasks—moving data from unstructured regulatory text into strict e-filing formats.
• Master the Data Layer: Leverage your solid database experience to design schemas in MongoDB that allow agents to retrieve and update records accurately. You understand that an AI agent is only as good as the data it can access.
• Orchestration & Automation: You will be the master of "The Flow." You will use Make.com to prototype and manage integrations, while writing custom Python logic to handle long-running, multi-step agent tasks.
• Vector Search Implementation: manage our Pinecone vector database to power RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems, ensuring our AI grounds its answers in actual laws and regulations, not hallucinations.
• Iterate & Experiment: Maintain an open mind toward emerging tech. The AI landscape changes weekly; you will continuously test new models, prompting techniques, and orchestration libraries to keep Gloco.ai ahead.
Technical DNA (Requirements)
• Core Engineering: 3+ years of software engineering experience with strong proficiency in Python.
• Database Mastery: You have deep experience with MongoDB. You know how to structure data for performance and how to maintain data integrity when AI agents are writing to the DB.
• Vector Experience: Hands-on experience with Pinecone or similar vector stores. You understand embeddings, semantic search, and context window management.
• Orchestration Mindset: Familiarity with workflow automation tools like Make.com (Integromat) or code-based orchestrators. You think in terms of "flows" and "states," not just single prompts.
The "X-Factor"
• Energetic Builder: You see a broken manual process and immediately start sketching how an agent could fix it.
• Open-Minded: You are comfortable with ambiguity. When a new paper drops or a library updates, you are excited to test it.
• Professional Rigor: You understand that in the compliance world, "close enough" isn't good enough. You build systems that are robust and verifiable.
Compensation & Benefits
• Salary: Competitive Base Salary + Significant Equity Package.
• Visa Sponsorship: H1B transfers and sponsorship will be considered for the right candidate.
• Location: Prime office location in Menlo Park, CA.
• Opportunity: Be an early core member of a team solving a mandatory, high-stakes industry problem.
