Agile Business Analyst
Location: Montréal
Contract Duration: 3 Years
Work Schedule: 35 hours per week
Work Mode: Hybrid – On-site presence required as needed
Job Description
The Agile Business Analyst analyzes the business context, business needs, business processes, and gaps, and proposes business processes and work procedures aimed at improving efficiency and achieving desired outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis related to business solution definition
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst on Agile IT projects
• Strong knowledge of BABOK business analysis methodologies
• Strong knowledge of BPMN 2.0 process modeling
• Basic knowledge of Enterprise Architect
• IIBA certification or equivalent certification (in-person examination)
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Project Phase
• Gather, analyze, and document business and stakeholder needs and requirements
• Define target business processes and work procedures aligned with solutions
Project Delivery Phase
• Elicit, document, and prioritize business, functional, non-functional, and transition requirements
• Collaborate with delivery teams and stakeholders to maximize business value
• Model business processes and document procedures
• Create and maintain user stories
• Recommend efficient ways of working and ensure strategic alignment
• Prepare financial, impact, and executive-level documentation
• Share best practices and support continuous improvement
Ongoing Responsibilities
• Conduct impact analysis on processes and systems
• Update business processes and procedures as needed
