Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Quality Control Technician I to join a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Lake County, IL
. This position plays a key role in supporting incoming inspections, sampling, and physical testing of in-process and final packaged products including bottles and blister packaging. The QC Technician will ensure compliance with product specifications and GMP guidelines during the 3rd shift.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform sampling, inspection, and physical testing of incoming and in-process materials
• Inspect final packaged products per appropriate product specifications
• Accurately document inspection results and maintain batch records in compliance with cGMP standards
• Support production teams in meeting daily schedule and quality standards
• Report any discrepancies or deviations to leadership promptly
• Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines
• Use computer systems and software to record results and access specifications
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1+ year of quality inspection or manufacturing experience required
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Basic math skills and computer literacy
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
• Experience in a GMP-regulated setting is preferred
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and remain on feet for extended period
