#NEW#Network Engineer (Night Shift – Migration Project)- 12 months
Shift: Monday to Friday, 11:00 PM – 6:00 AM (No weekends)
We are seeking a dedicated Network Engineer to support a large-scale router migration project covering 200 ATM sites. The role involves onsite work during night shifts to ensure smooth migration, testing, and cutover with minimal business disruption.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform onsite router configuration to migrate links to the new provider for designated ATM sites.
• Support nightly migration activities (one site per day) between 11:00 PM and 6:00 AM, Monday to Friday.
• Load client-provided configurations onto routers at each site.
• Conduct link testing with both the service provider and client-side engineers to validate successful migration.
• Carry and manage spare Cisco C1121 ATM routers and UTP cables (provided by the client) as backup during migrations.
• Ensure accurate documentation of migration activities and provide status updates to the project team.
Requirements
• Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Hands-on experience in router configuration, troubleshooting, and link migration.
• Working knowledge of Cisco devices; Cisco certification (CCNA or above) preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, especially under time-sensitive conditions.
• Good communication skills for coordination with providers and client-side engineers.
• Willingness to work night shifts (Mon–Fri, no weekends) for the duration of the project.
