Group Pastry Chef - Jeddah, KSA
We have been retained by a well-establish group in KSA that is looking to strengthen their team in one of their business units by adding a Group Pastry Chef. The Group Pastry Chef willmanage the entire pastry operation across the business unit, creating recipes, overseeing production of baked goods, managing inventory/ordering, training junior staff, ensuring hygiene standards, focusing on consistency, creativity, and high-quality desserts for varied customer needs.
A bit about the role:
• Design and test new recipes for cakes, pastries, breads, and desserts; update menus seasonally, keeping up with trends.
• Production and quality control
• Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise pastry assistants and junior chefs.
• Monitor stock, order ingredients and supplies, manage budgets, and liaise with suppliers
• Maintain strict food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards in all pastry sections.
• Manage pastry section logistics, equipment maintenance, and administrative duties.
What we are looking for:
• Proven experience in pastry/baking.
• Creativity, attention to detail, leadership.
• Knowledge of baking techniques, nutrition, sanitation.
• Culinary arts certification (often preferred).
• Fast-paced kitchen setting
Salary package: SAR15 000 - 20 000 all inclusive
