We're hiring the first Platform Engineer at a fast-scaling logistics startup backed by top-tier investors. The company has grown from $500K to $4M ARR in under two years and is now focused on building the infrastructure to support AI model development.
You’ll report directly to the Head of Platform Engineering and work alongside a high-calibre team from Google, DoorDash, and YC-founded startups.
This is a hands-on opportunity to shape foundational systems and contribute to an AI-native product in a multi-trillion-dollar industry.
What you’ll be doing
• Building core infrastructure to support AI agents and logistics products
• Designing scalable backend systems from scratch
• Creating automation for freight workflows still run manually today
• Working onsite in SF with hybrid flexibility

• A strong backend engineer with systems-thinking and architectural depth
• Experience in infrastructure or platform engineering at early-stage or high-growth companies
• A pragmatic mindset for building commercially valuable AI systems
• Someone excited to work closely with a team solving real problems, not chasing hype
Compensation
• Base: $200K–$250K
• Equity: Meaningful
