Our client, a top-tier Investment Bank, is expanding their data solution team to provide a better data experience for the whole organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop advanced data management tools to manage significant data sets, models, and processes.
• Identify areas for process automation and further efficiencies.
• Contribute to open-source technology.
• Drive the adoption of Cloud technology for data processing and warehousing.
• Engage with data consumers and producers to design appropriate models to suit all needs.
• Use relevant technologies such as Java, AWS, React, Scala, and the company's specific language.
Qualifications:
• 2-5 years of relevant work experience in a team-focused environment.
• Strong object-oriented design and programming skills and experience in OO languages (preferably Java, open to C++/ C#/ GoLang/ Scala, etc.).
• Experience or interest in functional programming languages.
• Proven experience applying domain-driven design to build complex business applications.
• Deep understanding of the multidimensionality of data, data curation, and data quality.
• In-depth knowledge of relational and columnar SQL databases, including database design.
