Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and implement full-stack solutions for a low-latency derivatives trading platform using micro-service architecture.
• Build and optimize distributed systems to ensure scalability and high performance for global transactions.
• Collaborate with product management to enhance or create new models, products, and algorithms.
• Conduct code audits, testing, and release processes to ensure high-quality, low-latency deliverables.
• Develop rapidly deployable systems with automated testing, continuous integration, and delivery pipelines.
• Identify and resolve issues in back-end infrastructure and distributed platforms.
• Tackle complex cross-stack problems to enhance system performance and reliability.
• Partner with the security team to develop secure, scalable infrastructure and services.
• Contribute to the management of code and functional documentation.
• Work with DevOps to continuously enhance the technology stack for low-latency and distributed operations.
Requirements
• 5+ years of Java programming experience, with a focus on low-latency applications.
• Experience developing trading applications in equity, FX, or derivatives at an investment bank, hedge fund, or exchange (traditional or crypto markets preferred).
• Proficiency in building and optimizing distributed systems for scalability and performance.
• Expertise in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of blockchain or digital assets is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, ownership of tasks, and a passion for continuous improvement.
• Eagerness to embrace challenges and learn new technologies in a fast-moving industry.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
• Knowledge of derivative products is a plus.
