The Opportunity • Adecco is partnering with a leading global technology company to hire a Python Engineer. • This role is a senior full-stack engineering position responsible for designing, building, and delivering complex, large-scale product features while collaborating across teams to drive technical solutions and ensure high-quality, timely releases. • The role will start off as a contract role. The Job Responsibilities • Partner with product, design, operations, and infrastructure teams to build innovative application features. • Develop custom user interfaces using modern technologies and best practices. • Review, refine, and optimize code for quality, performance, and efficiency. • Design scalable, high-performance systems for complex applications. • Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks and lead major technical-debt reduction efforts. • Work across multiple programming languages and tech stacks. • Take ownership of components or systems with deep, end-to-end understanding. Requirements: • Possesses more than 6 years of experience building large-scale, high-quality, reliable applications. • Strong communication skills and deep knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, REST, and modern development practices. • Proven ability to lead projects, teams, and major technical initiatives. • Skilled in code quality improvements through testing, reviews, monitoring, and data-driven problem solving. • Experience with Python, GraphQL, Next.js, Redis, relational databases, and web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, ES6+, TypeScript).
