Our client, a leading hedge fund in Singapore, is looking for a talented Python developer to work closely with the front office users including quant/ researcher/ traders to deliver the real-time, distributed research and trading platform.
• Responsibilities:
• Hands-on Python development or enhancements for front-to-back office applications
• Work closely with business users including traders, quant researchers, Operations & compliance to gather requirements & receive feedback
• Collaborate with global counterparts to ensure maximum reuse of effort
• Own applications in production globally and provide 3rd-level application support
Requirements:
• Solid experience in Python on Linux and SQL databases, different senioritis welcome
• Knowledge of trading, quant research, or market data interfaces is a plus
• Exposure to GCP (or AWS/ Azure) and knowledge of Terraform/ containers are preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in IT-related disciplines like Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science from a reputable university
