Role : Data Engineer.
Data Engineer (DE) Responsibilities -
• 6-8 years of DE experience in data analytics/data integration through agile environment.
• Deep understanding of AML domain, particularly in screening, risk and fraud - how data impacts business operations, compliance, regulations standards and decision makings.
• Strong experience in data analysis, analyze large data sets and identify patterns, anomalies, profiling data, clean-up, data wrangling and validation.
• Hands-on experience building data quality checks, data lineage and writing complex SQL queries.
• Experience working in large scale Enterprise Data Lake ingestion and extraction projects.
• Experience working with Jira, Confluence, utilizing database tolls like DBeaver, dB Visualizer Hue.
• Experience with Data Lake, Python, SQL Server, Power BI etc.
• Experience in working on software for retrieving, parsing and processing structured and unstructured data.
• Defining and building scalable ETL/ELT workflows for reporting and analytics data.
• Developing scripts and programs for converting various types of data into usable formats.
• Working with different RBC internal teams for software feature delivery, support and bug fixes.
• Supporting project team to scale, monitor and operate data platforms for very high availability and performance.
• Work in an Agile team environment which is fast paced, fun and collaborative.
• Ensuring the operating efficiency of existing application systems. Maintaining records for the documentation of systems development and revisions.
• Stay current and competitive by keeping up to date with the latest platform capabilities, security, performance, and reusability.
