Job Overview
This Configuration Engineer will play a key role in deploying and optimizing multi-vendor telecom networks for leading operators. They will work on cutting-edge technologies including 2G/3G/4G/5G, microwave, fiber, and IP/MPLS solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Configure and integrate: RAN, Core, Transmission, and IP/MPLS networks
• Perform parameter setup and optimization: 2G/3G/4G/5G across multiple vendors
• Setup and test links: Microwave and fiber for high-capacity transmission
• Manage routing and switching configurations: CCNA/HCIA-level (IP/MPLS)
• Utilize OSS/BSS tools: Network monitoring and management (U2020, ENM, NetAct)
• Document configurations and reports: Project stakeholders
Requirements & Skills
• Minimum 5+ years: Telecom network configuration and integration experience
• Expertise: Multi-vendor technologies (Huawei, Ericsson, Nokia, ZTE)
• Strong knowledge: IP/MPLS, routing, and switching protocols
• Hands-on experience: OSS/BSS tools (U2020, ENM, NetAct)
• Excellent skills: Troubleshooting, analytical, documentation
• Valid Iqama
