Interim Head of Procurement
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interim Head of Procurement to join our client's team in Chicago. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving procurement excellence, developing and implementing effective strategies, and managing supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute long-term procurement strategies for key commodity categories
• Define and manage the Procurement vision, aligning with senior leadership
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure alignment with business goals, focusing on value creation, quality, and efficiency
Requirements:
• Proven ability to analyze economic and market trends to inform procurement decisions
• At least 5 years of sourcing and supply chain experience
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, or Accounting (preferred)
• Proficient in English (written and spoken)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; ERP experience (SAP preferred)
