We’re a fast-growing Stanford-founded startup with strong early traction looking for a Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer to join as a cofounder. You’ll take ownership of our product architecture and build scalable backend systems to support rapid growth.
Responsibilities:
• Lead backend development using Ruby on Rails
• Collaborate with the founding team on product design and technical strategy
• Optimize performance, security, and scalability
• Mentor junior engineers and help define engineering best practices
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails development
• Strong understanding of relational databases and API design
• Experience with scaling web applications and cloud infrastructure
• Entrepreneurial mindset and excitement for early-stage startups
