At Amazon Web Services (AWS) EMEA, we're hiring Migrations Sales Specialists to focus on large-scale customer opportunities across Sub-Saharan Africa. This role offers the opportunity to influence the growth and future of our migration business within the Enterprise segment, impacting our customers' businesses.
You will lead a cross-functional team including business development, sales, solution architecture, partners, and professional services. Effectiveness in working with senior customer and partner leadership to qualify, develop, and close deals is essential.
The ideal candidate will have experience engaging enterprise customers with services, technology, and application partners on large-scale transformation projects. They will have a customer-obsessed, collaborative approach, strong business acumen, and the ability to shape business benefits through compelling business cases.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive revenue, adoption, and market penetration across Sub-Saharan Africa.
• Lead deals teams and engagements at the CxO level, manage regional sales pipelines, and lead sales efforts.
• Work backwards from customer business objectives to facilitate transformational change through migration and modernization into AWS.
• Build business cases, proposals, and plans to help customers realize business value outcomes.
• Develop scalable IP and mechanisms for customer engagement.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, industry, and technical teams to identify and execute opportunity strategies.
• Conduct customer briefings, present at events, and share thought leadership.
• Lead pipeline and deal review cadences with cross-functional teams.
• Document and present results, insights, and recommendations to executive leadership.
