**Job Summary**: The HR Analytics and Data Specialist is responsible for driving data-driven decision-making within the HR department by providing insights through business intelligence, HRIS data management, and database analysis. This role involves maintaining dashboards, reports, and metrics using Power BI and PeopleSoft queries, ensuring data integrity, and working closely with stakeholders to meet HR analytic needs. The role requires strong analytical skills, HRIS experience, and the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights. • *Main Responsibilities**: - Maintain and update PeopleAnalytics dashboards, KPIs, and reports using Power BI and PeopleSoft queries. - Provide summary and detailed reports on an ad-hoc and scheduled basis, including overtime, time-off management, headcount, and payroll reports. - Manage the daily configuration needs of HRIS data. - Provide ad-hoc support for stakeholder data requirements. - Enhance HR systems to provide accurate employee information to external business environments. • *Key Skills and Qualifications**: - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, HRIS, Human Resources, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Minimum of 7 years of overall experience, with at least 4 years in analytics, business intelligence, HRIS, or similar roles. - Experience with People Analytics and building/managing data infrastructure. - Proven experience in data mining, text analytics, and data collection strategies. - Strong experience working with HRIS systems (e.g., PeopleSoft, Workday HCM is an asset, but not required as training will be provided). • *Job Type**: Fixed term contract Contract length: 10 months Pay: $38.00-$40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Schedule: - 8 hour shift • *Experience**: - People Analytics: 4 years (preferred) - HRIS systems: 4 years (preferred)
