Our client is seeking a seasoned and dynamic professional to join a high-impact program focused on solving complex technical challenges. This role offers significant exposure across teams and technologies, and demands both strategic thinking and hands-on expertise.
🔍 Key Qualifications & Responsibilities
• Thrive in high-visibility programs with challenging problem sets
• Proven experience designing and operating end-to-end data platforms-from ingestion to consumption
• Expert-level proficiency in one or more programming languages: Java, Python, JavaScript, Scala
• Hands-on experience with AKS/Docker, virtual machines, streaming technologies, and API development
• Ability to design, research, and implement process components that enable Azure functionalities (e.g., Unity Catalog, Azure Purview)
• Familiarity with third-party vendors such as Dremio or Confluent Kafka is a strong plus
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and align with strategic data platform goals
• Skilled in creating architectural diagrams with a focus on networking and system design
• Experience with PaaS offerings from Azure, GCP, or Databricks
• Capable of leading complex projects and managing competing priorities with technical depth and clarity
• Analyze platform-level changes, monitor application impact, and deliver fast, effective technical solutions
• Proactively manage and escalate risks and customer-impacting issues to leadership
• Deliver on product commitments and influence others through informal leadership and strong communication
• Apply automation, open-source tools, observability, and security-first principles in daily work
• Contribute to agile ceremonies, lead demos and presentations, and mentor new engineers
• Initiate high-level solution designs and guide teams toward automated, observable, and scalable software delivery
• Participate in internal advocacy and speaking engagements to promote technical excellence
🎓 Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline
• Expert knowledge in one or more of the following: Java, Python, JavaScript
• Experience operating in cloud environments
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
• Strong ability to guide and influence cross-functional teams across diverse initiatives
