The Azure Sales Specialist is a senior individual contributor responsible for driving strategic cloud and AI transformation across enterprise accounts. This role combines deep technical expertise with consultative selling to accelerate adoption of Microsoft Azure Infrastructure, Data, and AI solutions. The specialists act as trusted advisors to C-level executives, orchestrating complex solution plays and influencing business outcomes.

Sales Excellence
• Owns end-to-end business for enterprise accounts; leads forecasting, portfolio and territory planning for strategic engagements.
• Mentors team members and drives customer satisfaction through feedback reviews and recovery plans.
• Orchestrates sales and delivery success across account and pursuit teams.
• Completes role-specific training and certifications; proactively shares customer insights with the team.
• Collaborates with sales, partners, and marketing for business analysis and whitespace identification; acts as a thought leader.
• Builds new markets leveraging technical expertise and partners; leads business planning and ROB for strategic accounts.
Sales Execution
• Drives consumption and growth with strategic customers; ensures robust deployment plans for licensing and projects.
• Challenges customer needs, articulates vision, and leads solution proposals aligned to priorities.
• Generates leads, builds pipeline, and applies MSP to qualify opportunities; acts as SME for social selling and events.
• Engages executive decision makers, brings industry insights, and closes deals; leads cross-org teams on strategic projects.
• Develops strategies for complex/high-value deals; coaches others on close plans to ensure predictable outcomes.
Scaling & Collaboration
• Leads cross-territory planning and execution; validates partner solutions and connects ecosystems for new opportunities.
• Orchestrates with internal stakeholders and partners to promote collaboration and participation.
Technical Expertise
• Acts as thought leader internally and externally; mentors others and shares best practices.
• Has technical skills across all cloud solutions (Infra, Applications) with specialization in Data, AI & Analytics solutions. Preferably on Microsoft Azure.
• Provides competitive insights and collaborates with internal specialist and engineering teams; influences product and sales strategies to overcome blockers.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND 8+ years technology-related sales or account management experience
Additional Or Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 8+ years technology-related sales or account management experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or related field AND 10+ years technology-related sales or account management experience OR 12+ years technology-related sales or account management experience.
