Key Responsibilities: QA/QC Engineer MEP
• Develop, implement and maintain QA/QC procedures and inspection test plans (ITPs) for MEP activities.
• Conduct routine inspections and site surveillance to ensure MEP works comply with project specifications, standards and quality requirements.
• Review and verify all MEP materials, installations and testing procedures.
• Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors and consultants for inspections and approval of MEP works.
• Prepare and maintain detailed QA/QC documentation, including inspection requests (IRs), method statements, NCRs and work inspection reports (WIRs).
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations (DEWA, ADDC, DCD etc.).
• Monitor and report nonconformances and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
• Conduct internal audits and participate in external audits when necessary.
• Attend progress and quality meetings, providing necessary inputs and updates.
• Maintain safety and quality across all MEP site activities.
Key Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5-7 years experience as a QA/QC MEP Engineer in the UAE.
• Experience with contracting companies is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of MEP codes, standards and authority regulations.
• Proficient in MS Office and QA/QC software tools; AutoCAD/Revit knowledge is an asset.
• Excellent communication, coordination and report-writing skills.
