ABOUT US: Braintrust is a user-owned talent network that connects you with great jobs with no fees or membership costs—so you keep 100% of what you earn. - ** JOB TYPE**: Freelance, Contract Position (no agencies/C2C - see notes below) - **LOCATION**: Remote - Canada only - **HOURLY RANGE**: Our client is looking to pay $90 - $100/hr - **ESTIMATED DURATION**: 40h/week - Long term ABOUT THE HIRING PROCESS: • *THE OPPORTUNITY** • *Requirements**: Agile Project Manager (Scrum Master) - Strategy Team • *Responsibilities**: - Maintain the overall sprint backlog in conjunction with the product owner - Collaborate up, down and across the teams - Work with a core team around product, architecture, and business stakeholders to ensure features are well defined and agreed upon - Facilitate the activities for individual sprint planning events - Provide transparency to risks, progress, metrics, economic factors and delays - Assist and/or perform the duties of "Release Train Engineer (RTE)," as required - Oversee processes around build pipeline management and deployments - Develop, promote and exemplify leadership skills - Coach the team to adopt and adhere to delivery best practices - Improve quality, predictability, flow, and velocity while maintaining a focus on daily and sprint goals in the context of the current project objectives - Facilitate team retrospectives to foster an expectation of continuous improvement - Coordinate and conduct daily stand-up, sprint planning, review and retrospective - Eliminate blocking issues that are either beyond the team’s authority or may require support from other teams • *Skills and Experience Required** - Bachelor Degree in Computer Sciences or experience with leadership in this field - Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, coach, develop and execute - Demonstrated ability to communicate, collaborate, and integrate with others - Conversant in modern web and database technologies - Demonstrated leadership capabilities and stakeholder influence and alignment - Extensive knowledge of Customer, Vendor, Service Provider and other supply chain actors business transactional needs, systems, organizational structures, and processes • *Job Summary** This role requires 5+ years’ experience in acceptance testing and coordination of releases. • *This will start as a 6 month contract with the possibility to extend** Braintrust Job ID: 6222 Braintrust values the multitude of talents and perspectives that a diverse workforce brings.
