Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical AML Data Lineage Contract professional to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of data related to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial auditing and internal audits, with a strong understanding of data lineage and compliance requirements. This position will involve collaborating with various departments to ensure that data flows are accurately documented and compliant with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
• Analyze and document data lineage for AML processes, ensuring all data sources, transformations, and destinations are accurately represented.
• Collaborate with internal audit teams to assess the effectiveness of AML controls and identify areas for improvement.
• Conduct thorough reviews of financial data to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Prepare reports on findings from audits and assessments, providing actionable recommendations for enhancements.
• Work closely with IT and data management teams to implement changes based on audit findings and compliance requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of AML regulations and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
Skills
• Strong background in financial auditing, with experience in conducting internal audits preferred.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies related to data lineage documentation.
• Excellent attention to detail, with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with AML regulations and compliance frameworks is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically about data integrity issues.
• Experience with data lineage tools (e.g. Collibra, Big ID, Ab Initio)
