Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Web Developer to join flexible design projects on a dedicated, fractional or fixed project basis. This role offers the opportunity to work with multiple clients and projects, utilizing your creative design expertise.
You will be responsible for designing and developing visually appealing graphics, website and content that align with our clients' branding and business goals. Key responsibilities include:
• Collaborating with clients to understand their website needs, goals, and branding requirements
• Designing aesthetically pleasing website layouts using best practices in UI/UX design
• Developing responsive and mobile-friendly websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks
• Implementing content management systems (CMS) as needed, such as WordPress or Shopify, to empower clients to manage their website content
• Designing and implementing creative social media projects
• Conducting thorough testing across different browsers and devices to ensure optimal performance and user experience
• Providing ongoing support and maintenance for websites, including updates, troubleshooting, and enhancements
• Staying up-to-date with the latest web design trends, tools, and technologies to ensure innovative solutions for clients
Requirements include:
• Bachelor's degree in Art, Web Design, Web Development, Computer Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in brand, logo, website and graphic design
• Must have a business entity for 1099 eligibility
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is helpful
• Experience with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Figma, Zapier and Canva is helpful
• Familiarity with responsive design techniques and frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS)
• Knowledge of content management systems like WordPress Elementor, Shopify, or similar
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members
