We are looking for a Senior Manager of Software Engineering with extensive experience in software engineering and infrastructure leadership, and a proven track record leading complex projects at high‑profile technology companies. Reporting to the Head of Product & Engineering, you will build a high‑calibre team and lead key projects to advance our technology through carefully managed enhancements aligned with clear business outcomes.

Roles and Responsibilities
Lead strategic projects, including cloud scalability and smarter‑insights initiatives, to deliver tangible business outcomes.
Establish, scale, and mentor a top‑tier, agile engineering hub across Europe.
Collaborate with the Head of Engineering, CTO, CEO, customers, partners, and the developer community to develop a detailed, incremental technical roadmap focusing on enterprise scalability, UI modernisation, API‑driven architecture, and privacy‑compliant AI.
Guide the design, implementation, deployment, and maintenance of secure, resilient infrastructure on‑premises and/or cloud.
Automate repetitive tasks, system deployments, and configuration management to optimise cost and performance.
Define and maintain robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems, and manage on‑call processes and incident response.
Integrate security tools into CI/CD pipelines, improve security testing automation, and lead initiatives to strengthen our DevSecOps posture.

This role will progressively expand over two years, beginning with establishing a European hub and growing into a broader global responsibility within our software engineering function.
Minimum Qualifications
Extensive leadership experience in software engineering and incremental architecture transformation.
Demonstrated success reducing operational costs and boosting productivity.
Proven track record managing and scaling high‑performance engineering teams in globally recognised tech companies.
Solid experience leveraging open‑source software strategically.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
