Our company, eram-talent, is seeking a skilled Environment Specialist to collaborate with various departments and promote green practices in Saudi Arabia. This role involves ensuring that our environmental initiatives meet regulatory requirements and align with sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Comply with environmental procedures and KAUST ISO14001:2015 standards during operations and construction.
• Maintain an up-to-date register of environmental compliance obligations, identifying gaps and regularly updating the register.
• Lead the implementation and communication of environmental information management systems to stakeholders.
• Conduct environmental monitoring, inspections, and audits, as well as reviews of Land Use Permits applications.
• Participate in environmental risk assessments and track contractor performance.
• Engage in community outreach activities and collaborate with students and researchers.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in environmental science or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in HSE management systems, with emphasis on conducting inspections and audits.
• Experience in implementing and administering an ISO14001 system.
• Strong understanding of environmental laws, regulations, and sustainability practices.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, and communication skills.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is beneficial.
