Hardware/System Engineer
Must: Singaporean
Clearance Requirement: Cat2A and above
Job Description
• Engineering design, Infrastructure requirements and configuration, calculations, drawings, and documentation for the simulation systems
• Prepare specific work packages along with evaluation and selection of sub-contractors
• Source for specific sub-contractors for supply and services
• Involvement in on-site supervision of the installation and integration of the system
• Ensure accuracy and quality of installed works, check out system readiness, perform functional and sub-system testing
• Coordinate with software developers and vendors to implement simulation logic, control systems, and user interfaces
• Perform on-site acceptance tests with customers/end-users
• Prepare system technical training materials and conduct training to customers/end-users, then ensure smooth hand over of the system to operations and maintenance
• Conduct FAT for equipment and sub-system, design operation and deployment procedures
• Conduct On-Site-Acceptance Test (OSAT) with customer (E.g. Simulation Hardware System, Motion systems….)
• Liase with procurement for project hardware purchases
• Provide technical support during simulator deployment, training sessions, and maintenance cycles
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, and data protection standards
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend upgrades or enhancements to improve simulation realism and efficiency
• Participate in feedback loops with end-users to refine system usability and effectiveness
Job Requirements
• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics Engineering
• Min 2 years’ experience in Engineering Field
• Knowledge in Microsoft office, Visio.
• Knowledge in EMI/EMC
• Knowledge in Human Factor Engineering
• Knowledge in Solidworks, Autocad, etc..
• Knowledge on Infrastructure design and planning
• Proficient in reading Electrical Schematics and Technical drawings
• Good command in English and Mandarin to interact with stakeholders
• Basic knowledge on computing network
• Able to perform presentations confidently
• Preferable possesses Class 3 license
• Willing to travel on short notice
