The Global Security Control Center (GSCC) is a 24/7 operation that supports emergency and non-emergency events. It researches global affairs, mitigates incoming calls, dispatches events, and provides notification services.
About the Role
• Lead a team of Program Managers and Geospatial Specialists in managing GSCC technology platforms.
• Evaluate platform performance, work with partners to solve issues, and have knowledge of industry vendors and technology platforms.
• Collaborate with peer teams and management for seamless integration and coordination.
This role requires a strong people leader who can coach, mentor, and advocate for direct reports. You will be an expert in executing strategic direction, task-oriented, and bring program management skills across multiple initiatives.
You Will Need:
• Leadership: 5+ years of experience leading people and programs, adaptive communication styles, mentoring, continuous learning, and navigating matrixed cultures.
• People Management: Experience evaluating direct reports at different levels for successful execution and professional development.
• Technical Acumen: Working knowledge of current technology platforms, geospatial data, and analysis, their integration into public or private sector GSOC operational frameworks.
• Program Management: Training and experience in designing, executing, and sustaining enterprise-wide programs with global reach and multiple stakeholders.
