Job Location: 21504 - San Francisco, CA Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 Salary/year Job Shift: Day Job Category: Corporate As a Corporate Security Supervisor, you will provide critical day-to-day oversight of security and fire staff, ensuring compliance with General Motors' standards and procedures at assigned sites. Your role will involve mentorship and leadership, focusing on risk evaluation and operational effectiveness. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee security operations and ensure adherence to the General Motors Global Security Manual. • Mentor security supervisors and officers, promoting a culture of adherence to standard operating procedures. • Evaluate site risks and ensure adequate security coverage, including compliance with regulations and post orders. • Advise management during emergencies and ensure appropriate responses from security personnel. • Collaborate with plant and site management to identify security issues and recommend solutions. • Assist in the recruitment, training, and retention of security staff in compliance with regulations. • Conduct regular reviews and site assessments to identify vulnerabilities and improve security measures. • Manage billing processes accurately and conduct audits to ensure compliance with service agreements. • Maintain effective communication with emergency responders and ensure compliance with safety and fire prevention procedures. • Ensure confidentiality and proper management of sensitive information. • Be prepared to respond physically to emergencies and engage in effective team collaboration. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent; deviations must be approved by General Motors Global Security. • Five years of progressively responsible, security-related experience; seven years preferred. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and organize tasks effectively. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft programs and a working knowledge of security systems. • Ability to respond decisively in high-pressure situations and support progressive change initiatives. • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is beneficial.
