The Associate Manager of Residential Security will oversee security operations across multiple private residences, ensuring the safety and security of our principals, their families, guests, staff, and property. This role requires strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving abilities to manage a security team while maintaining discretion and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage residential security teams for an executive family, ensuring personnel are well-trained and operating at peak performance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with the private family office and key cross-functional partners for effective security operations and communication of security needs.
• Incorporate principal preferences into the design and execution of security operations across various estates.
• Coordinate with principals, family office staff, vendors, and internal teams.
• Develop, implement, and uphold security protocols to ensure a secure environment.
• Conduct routine security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and implement improvements as needed.
• Collaborate with Protective Intelligence, Security Systems, and other key teams to identify and adopt leading security solutions.
• Oversee responses to security incidents, emergencies, and threats.
• Work with law enforcement, emergency services, and private security firms as required.
• Provide protective services for principals and family members, ensuring a discreet security presence.
• Ensure vendors meet SLAs and KPIs that you help create.
• Responsible for strategizing and implementing security strategies for rental properties and future estate acquisitions.
• Conduct training sessions and drills for the security team to boost preparedness and response efficacy.
• Ensure all security personnel comply with confidentiality agreements and uphold a high standard of discretion.
• Maintain familiarity with embedded medical programs within private family offices, ensuring integration with emergency protocols.
Qualifications:
• Experience in a private family office setting.
• Experience in high-net-worth or executive protection environments.
• Located in the Los Angeles area.
• Leadership experience in security management.
• Strong knowledge of security systems, access control, and emergency response protocols.
• Excellent situational awareness and decision-making skills.
• Ability to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure situations.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• High level of physical fitness to perform security-related tasks.
• Background check and security clearance may be required.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience in private security, law enforcement, military, or a similar field.
• Certifications in Executive Protection Training, CPR/AED, First Aid, or similar.
• In-depth understanding of Private Family Office operations.
• Knowledge of cyber and physical security measures.

Compensation Information:
The target annual salary for this role is $154,000. Full-time offers from Coinbase include eligibility for bonuses, equity, and comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)).
