Keylent-inc seeks an experienced PostgreSQL DBA to manage our database system. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15+ years of experience in database management systems.
Responsibilities
• Create objects in the database, such as triggers, indexes, and views.
• Monitor database performance and ensure optimum performance.
• Identify potential issues in the database to solve them early.
• Maintain backups and perform disaster recovery in case of a disaster.
Requirements
• Proven migration experience with integration from Oracle to Postgres.
• Ability to monitor security and prevent unauthorized access to the database.
• Schedule consistent maintenance on the server.
• Maintain database schema, manage database availability, and provide best practice guidance to the development team.
Skills
• Expertise in PostgreSQL database management.
• Knowledge of database schema, table space management, and role management.
• Experience with automation technologies to accelerate data loading.
• Ability to develop relational databases and ensure data integrity.
