LeverageTek is actively seeking a Salesforce Admin and Reporting Consultant for a 3-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer. Work Location Remote Security Requirement Be eligible for Enhanced Reliability Key Tasks Salesforce Reporting & Analytics • Build and maintain operational Salesforce reports and dashboards • Create custom report types and optimize existing reporting structures • Analyze Salesforce data to understand lifecycle flows (e.g., time in each status, throughput, volumes) • Support Power BI reporting using Salesforce data (DirectQuery, models, dashboards) Salesforce Administration • Configure and maintain objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and permissions • Manage data integrity, security, and platform configuration • Run data extracts using Data Loader, Workbench, or APIs • Collaborate with developers and other teams on cross-functional enhancements Stakeholder Collaboration • Work directly with internal stakeholders to understand reporting and operational challenges • Gather and refine requirements and translate them into practical reporting solutions • Support user adoption, training, and documentation Governance & Documentation • Contribute to evolving data governance processes • Maintain documentation for reports, dashboards, and data models • Provide knowledge transfer to internal teams Key Qualifications • 5+ years of Salesforce Administration experience (Admin or Sys Admin roles) • Advanced Power BI and Salesforce reporting expertise, including building dashboards, operational analytics, and custom reports in Power BI, with experience integrating Salesforce data into Power BI reports (data modeling, DAX, Power Query, DirectQuery, SOQL, APIs). • Solid SQL skills and experience working with Salesforce data (API, Data Loader, Workbench) Qualifications • Strong understanding of Salesforce data structures and data flow • Ability to gather requirements and translate them into scalable reporting solutions • Excellent communication skills and comfort working directly with business users • Comfortable in an Agile development environment Assets • Salesforce Administrator or Advanced Administrator certification • Experience with data governance frameworks • Bilingual About LeverageTek Staffing Solutions Founded in 2003, LeverageTek provides end-to-end, cross-functional staffing solutions throughout North America.
