JOB TITLE: Dev Ops Engineer
LOCATION: London – Hybrid working
PACKAGE: £70-90k
WAY OF WORKING: 1 – 2 days in office

My client are a global service provider with prestigious sites that can be found all around the globe.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
My client is seeking a DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure management, automation, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure cloud environments to support our development and operational needs.
Key accountabilities:
• Design, implement, and manage scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient deployment processes.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
• Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to optimize performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of applications.
• Implement and manage security best practices to safeguard cloud environments and applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application-related issues in a timely manner.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in Azure and DevOps practices.
Key Skills required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on Azure cloud services.
• Strong understanding of Azure infrastructure, including VMs, App Services, Azure SQL, networking, and security.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
