We are looking for a System and Network Engineer to support and manage our on-premises server environment, virtualisation platforms, and network operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, problem-solving, and ensuring smooth daily operations across the organisation.
📍 Location: Boon Lay
🕒 Working Hours: Monday to Friday
📄 Employment Type: 1-year renewable contract with great staff benefits
💰 Salary: Up to $6,500 basic
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in managing on-premises servers and virtual machines (VMs) using platforms like VMware, Hyper-V, or Nutanix.
• Help set up and update firewall rules and network access based on support tickets.
• Handle basic requests related to network access, user permissions, and virtualisation support.
• Work with vendors and internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure or network issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow IT security guidelines.
• Support day-to-day infrastructure monitoring, patching, and general system administration tasks.
Key Requirements
• Diploma or Degree in system engineering, network engineering or a related field.
• Basic experience with virtualisation platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, or Nutanix preferred.
• Knowledge of Windows Server administration and management.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, including switches, routers, firewall rules, and access control.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work with vendors and internal teams.
Preferred Qualifications
• Any relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+, VMware Certified Professional) are advantageous but not required.
