Principal Engineer (C# and DevOps)
Our client in Engineering Industry is looking for an experienced Principal Engineer (C# and DevOps)
Responsibilities:
• Develop and support a globally distributed software landscape in automation and innovative industrial topics, such as Smart Factory or IoT
• Responsible for conception, development, automated testing and deployment of creative object-oriented software solutions.
• Develop these solutions on a C# and .NET (core) basis in a Scrum team
• Develop the build, continuous integration and deployment chain
• Collaborate closely with the Production, Service Managers, Application Development Manager to ensure alignment of solutions with business objectives
• Discover advanced software solutions in an industrial environment in cooperation with the IT department and embedded developers.
• Further development and support of the monitoring and operation of the running system in cooperation with the IT department.
• Provide 2nd level support for this software landscape
Requirements:
• Master's degree in computer science or a similar discipline.
• Over 5 years in C#/.NET (Core).
• Hands-on Docker experiences.
• Hands-on Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) framework experiences.
• Proficient troubleshooting skills to effectively address technical challenges.
• Strong analytical prowess, problem-solving abilities, and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation
