Guiding users in rectifying the required hardware and software queries.
Maintain consistency in managing services by following the ITIL framework.
Technical Support:
Provide first-line technical support to staff and students, resolving hardware and software issues.
Respond to IT support tickets in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to teaching and learning activities.
Assist in the setup and maintenance of computers, printers, projectors, and other IT equipment.
Hardware and Software Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance and updates on all school IT equipment, including computers, servers, and network devices.
Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems as required.
Network Administration:
Assist in monitoring and maintaining the school's network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Support the configuration and management of network devices, including routers, switches, and access points.
Data Management:
Ensure regular backups of critical data and systems, following established procedures.
Assist in the management and organization of digital files and databases.
User Training and Support:
Provide basic IT training and support to staff and students to enhance their understanding and effective use of technology.
Create and maintain user guides and documentation for common IT processes and procedures.
Security and Compliance:
Support the implementation and maintenance of IT security measures, including antivirus software, firewalls, and access controls.
Ensure compliance with school policies and industry regulations regarding data protection and IT usage.
Incident Response:
Assist in the identification, reporting, and resolution of IT security incidents and breaches.
Participate in regular IT audits and assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
