Applied Machine Learning Engineer
We're seeking an Applied Machine Learning Engineer to design and deploy intelligent systems that streamline infrastructure workflows. This role involves working hands-on with advanced technologies-such as large language models (LLMs), knowledge graphs, and modern retrieval systems-to build scalable, agent-based solutions.
You'll prototype rapidly, experiment with emerging approaches, and take projects from concept through production. If you thrive in dynamic environments and are passionate about applying AI to real-world challenges, this position is for you.
What You'll Do
• Design and implement large-scale machine learning systems that deliver measurable product value.
• Build and maintain end-to-end evaluation pipelines using real-world data.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to translate business needs into ML-driven solutions.
• Prototype and iterate quickly, adapting to feedback and evolving requirements.
What We're Looking For
• Experience: 5+ years in applied machine learning or a related role, ideally in a fast-paced or high-growth environment.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong ML fundamentals: classification/regression, clustering, dimensionality reduction, evaluation, probabilistic modeling.
• Expertise in at least one applied ML domain (e.g., NLP, search, statistical modeling).
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript; familiarity with common ML libraries and data engineering tools.
• Mindset: Problem-solving focus, strong communication skills, and comfort with iterative development.
• Bonus:
• Experience with vector/hybrid search.
• Dataset curation or synthetic data generation.
• Contributions to open-source ML tools.
• Familiarity with Go or other systems languages.
