Job Description As a Staff Software Engineer on Google Cloud's Applied AI team, you'll play a critical role in developing the next-generation technologies that transform customer support. You'll work on a mission-critical project, leading both first-party development and collaborations with external partners. The team is at the forefront of AI-driven customer interactions, building cloud-based contact center software and last-mile integrations for seamless conversations across chat and voice surfaces. You'll be an action-oriented leader, driving end-to-end development, defining technical roadmaps, and collaborating with Product Management, UX, and AI research teams. With experience in cloud-based contact centers, Generative AI, and low-latency distributed systems, you'll apply your domain expertise to guide product direction and navigate technical trade-offs.
