Responsibilities:
• Support and manage routers, switches, firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Intrusion Prevention System, VPN gateways, proxies, Wireless LAN Controllers, Network Access Control appliances, load balancers, Network Management System, and other network and firewall devices.
• Perform day-to-day network and security operations, including monitoring and managing network infrastructure.
• Respond to network incidents according to severity levels and meet service level requirements.
• Handle high-pressure situations, identify problems, and make quick decisions to resolve issues.
• Adhere to incident management workflows and procedures.
• Maintain and update network diagrams, configuration records, inventory, RMA records, and incident reports.
• Provide timely and accurate reports on network performance, capacity planning, and incident analysis.
• Work closely with third-party vendors, telecommunication operators, ISPs, and other service providers.
• Participate in transition planning and support the onboarding of network and security systems.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, information security guidelines, and health and safety regulations.
• Provide continuous training to enhance knowledge and skills in network administration and management.
Qualifications:
• Diploma in Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing network and security infrastructure.
• Prefer Certification: Level 1: ITIL certified, CCNA or equivalent network certifications.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work on standby, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• On standby and contactable 24/7 for support and escalation.
