Job Title: Tandem Developer (HP NonStop Systems)
Location: Rolling Meadows, IL (Hybrid preferred) or Remote
Job Type: Contract
Pay Range: $60/hr – $70/hr
Key Responsibilities & Skills:
• Strong experience with Tandem HP NonStop systems and tools
• Proficiency in COBOL and TACL programming
• Knowledge of Tandem databases (Enscribe, SQLMP)
• Familiarity with Tandem utilities (Pathway, TMF, Guardian)
• Experience with batch processing and OLTP systems
• Expertise in system performance tuning and optimization
Soft Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of Tandem development and analysis experience
• Background in insurance claims handling or related industries is a plus
