**Key Responsibilities/Job Functions**:
- Create strong relationships with other BSA team members, scrum teams, Architecture, DevOps, Product Owners, RTE and business stakeholders
- Work with waterfall and agile methodologies
- Participate in the discovery and prioritization of Initiatives and Epics and break them down into manageable user stories
- Gather non functional requirements on behalf of Middleware and ensure those are captured and addressed by the project
- Identify Middleware solutions for a given project, while considering the current landscape as well as architectural roadmaps
- Work closely with the Product Owner (PO) to write clear User Stories with testable acceptance criteria for Agile projects; prepare documentation including but not limited to HLEs, Requirements Matrix, Solution Design Specifications, Detail Design Documents and testing guidelines following the waterfall SDLC.
- Gather and provide estimates and forecasts to project PM
- Conduct JAD and white board sessions with multiple SMEs to brainstorm the solution
- Become functional domain SME in Middleware
- Independently manage minor Middleware enhancements end to end
- Work with core / legacy systems outside of Middleware to ensure smooth integration
- Work closely with Quality Assurance teams - System Functional, Performance, User Acceptance, Business Readiness
- Conduct project review sessions, obtain sign offs, and coordinate acceptance tests to ensure timely delivery of requirements.
- Work on multiple projects in different SDLC stages simultaneously
• *Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Technology or equivalent
- 5+ years of relevant Product Specialist or Business Systems Analyst experience in software development setting
- experience within an Agile and waterfall methodologies
- Ability to quickly grasp new ideas and solutions, communicate effectively with colleagues (business and technical staff) and management.
- Ability to translate ambiguous business and technical requirements into detailed Business Requirements, User Stories & Use cases
- Experience using Jira, Confluence, or equivalent product management and collaboration tools
- Excellent decision-making, problem solving, verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to build relationships, work collaboratively, and resolve problems with people at all levels in the organization
- Experience working with external vendors
