Job Summary:
AWS Solution Architect designs secure, scalable AWS infrastructure supporting the data platform. Key responsibilities include ensuring security, scalability, and cost-efficiency in architecture choices.
• Deep knowledge of AWS Services like S3, Redshift, Glue, VPC, IAM, KMS, CloudWatch
• Infrastructure security and networking (VPC, Subnets, Routing)
• Cost optimization and scaling strategies
• Familiarity with Redshift Spectrum, Athena
• Experience with EMR/Glue hybrid setup
• Understanding of compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR)
• AWS CloudFormation or Terraform
• AWS Pricing Calculator
• AWS Budgets, Cost Explorer
• Architecture diagramming tools (Lucidchart, Draw.io)
