Our client is a fast-growing and innovative company transforming the crypto trading landscape. As part of their continued expansion, they are seeking a talented Dev Ops Engineer to join their dynamic Infrastructure team. This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and high-performance trading.
About the Role
Reporting to the Infrastructure Lead and collaborating closely with Engineering, Trading, and Data teams, you will play a critical role in scaling, improving, and maintaining the company’s infrastructure. Your contributions will directly support the reliability, performance, and evolution of their trading platform.
Responsibilities
• Enhance and extend CI/CD pipelines, leveraging tools such as FluxCD, Git Hub Actions, and custom Python scripting.
• Optimize and integrate Kubernetes Operators with other systems, while implementing modern deployment strategies like Blue/Green and Canary releases.
• Contribute to the development of an internal workload orchestration solution built in Rust.
• Design and develop internal tools to improve platform efficiency and developer experience.
• Promote Dev Ops best practices, ensuring high standards in application reliability, observability, performance tuning, incident response, Fin Ops, and development workflow support.
• Participate in day-to-day operational tasks, infrastructure support, and platform monitoring.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements, address technical needs, and provide actionable solutions.
• Continuously propose enhancements and innovative approaches to improve infrastructure scalability and resilience.
Qualifications
• Strong experience with Kubernetes and Kubernetes Operators.
• Proficient in Golang and/or Rust for systems and tooling development.
• Previous experience in a trading or high-frequency financial environment.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD workflows, particularly with FluxCD and Git Hub Actions.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Exposure to scripting and development using Python and/or Node.js.
• A passion for technology and a proactive approach to learning new tools and methodologies.
