Job Description
The Security Supervisor is responsible for protecting and safeguarding hotel guests, employees, their belongings, and all hotel assets under the guidance of the Chief Security Officer. They assist in coordinating security operations to ensure efficiency and guest satisfaction, while promoting a positive work culture.
Requirements:
• Thorough understanding of hotel-related services and products, with the ability to recommend them to guests and staff.
• Consistent performance in line with hotel standards, adhering to all hotel policies and legal requirements.
• Manage the security department in the absence of the Chief Security Officer, ensuring a safe, secure, courteous, and professional environment following hotel standards.
• Conduct at least one patrol per shift across all areas of the property to observe and report irregularities to the CSO.
• Perform emergency response drills, daily safety inspections, investigations, interviews, security grooming, and key control.
• Maintain accurate records of security logs, incident reports, key control, lost and found, quarantine lists, visitor passes, and gate passes.
• Handle investigations and produce unbiased incident reports related to thefts, accidents, injuries, property damage, vandalism, and trespassing involving guests, visitors, or employees for management.
Desired Skills & Expertise
• Minimum five years of experience in security.
• Previous experience as a Security Supervisor in the hospitality industry.
• Extensive knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
• Excellent management and supervisory skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to train staff on security policies and procedures.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
• Additional security-related training or certifications are advantageous.
