Tour ProgrammerTour Programmer / Live Events ProgrammerFull time role on a one-year contractWorking hours: 10am – 6pm + attending shows in eveningsLocation: LondonOffice attire: Smart casualSalary range: £30,000 - £35,000 (dependent on experience)Holiday: 20 days plus bank holidays – Office Closed for 2 weeks at ChristmasBenefits: EAP Health Assured via WisdomWe’re looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our leading talent management company as a Tour Programmer.Ideally this position would suit somebody with previous programming experience, as either a promoter or a taking bookings at a venue.All applicants are expected to consider themselves team players, have good administrative expertise, a helpful/proactive disposition, and possess the ability to meet deadlines while remaining calm within an extremely busy working environment.The main aspects of this appointment would include:Programming all artist tours, ranging from small-scale clubs, function rooms, arts centres to large theatres and arenas.Upholding existing working associations with regional theatre programmers and their staff while establishing further relationships at new venues in order to source availability and schedule artists’ tours.In collaboration with the rest of the team; negotiating artist/venue contractual terms and agreements including remuneration, costs and venue expenses.Working closely with tour coordinators in preparation for artist on-sales including all advance publicity.Monitoring tour sales in order to predict any contingent future action such as scheduling additional dates, releasing venue holds, increasing and decreasing advertising, troubleshooting etcProvide general support to the tour
