Our valued Federal Government Client is currently seeking a Senior Agile Coach/Project Manager for a one-year, fully remote contract. This role will be responsible for guiding and supporting the transition of multiple project teams to the Agile methodology, ensuring best practices, effective collaboration, and successful adoption across the organization. Roles and Responsibilities • Lead Agile Transformation: Guide project teams through the transition from traditional project management approaches to Agile frameworks, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. • Coach and Mentor Teams: Provide hands-on coaching to Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and cross-functional teams to strengthen Agile practices, collaboration, and self-organization. • Facilitate Agile Ceremonies: Oversee and support key Agile events such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews, ensuring they are productive and value-driven. • Assess Team Maturity: Evaluate current Agile maturity levels, identify gaps, and design tailored improvement plans to enhance team performance and workflow efficiency. • Develop Agile Training Materials: Create and deliver training sessions, workshops, and guidance documents to promote consistent Agile understanding across teams. • Support Change Management: Work with leadership and stakeholders to promote Agile adoption, address organizational barriers, and influence cultural change toward iterative delivery. • Project Management Oversight: Provide project planning, risk management, and progress reporting as needed, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the transition. • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Partner with technical, business, and executive stakeholders to align priorities, refine processes, and ensure smooth Agile implementation across the enterprise. • Monitor Metrics & Performance: Track Agile KPIs such as velocity, sprint success rates, and team feedback to guide continuous improvement and demonstrate value delivery.
