We are looking for passionate Research Interns to join our Monetization Generative AI team. Our mission is to push the boundaries of generative AI, focusing on developing cutting-edge technologies that improve how we interpret and interact with various forms of data. This is an exciting chance for interns to contribute to groundbreaking algorithmic advancements and apply their insights on an impressive scale. Responsibilities: • Drive innovative research aimed at enhancing generative AI technologies. • Explore the semantics of diverse data types including images, video, text, and audio. • Collaborate with fellow researchers and cross-functional teams to effectively communicate research initiatives and outcomes. • Create data-driven models for both image and text generation. • Publish impactful research findings that influence Meta's product development. Minimum Qualifications: • Currently pursuing or in the process of obtaining a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. • Authorization to work in the respective country at the time of hire and maintain ongoing authorization during the internship. • Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, or Java. • Experience developing systems using machine learning and/or deep learning methodologies. Preferred Qualifications: • Aspired return to degree program after the completion of the internship. • Demonstrated results through grants, fellowships, patents, or publications at notable workshops or conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ACL). • Experience with Generative AI technologies such as diffusion models and large language models (LLMs). • Background in advancing AI techniques in computer vision, including contributions to open-source libraries and frameworks. • Publications or experience in machine learning, AI, computer vision, optimization, computer science, statistics, applied mathematics, or data science. • Experience analyzing complex, high-dimensional data and solving analytical problems using quantitative methods. • Skilled in setting up ML experiments and analyzing their outcomes. • Experience handling large-scale, complex datasets from various sources. • Ability to leverage theoretical and empirical research for problem-solving. • Strong communication and collaborative skills in a team environment.
