About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Control Engineer to lead and execute complex projects involving electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithms, and software design. This role requires strong technical expertise in motion control systems and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions. Key Responsibilities • Lead and/or develop complex projects integrating electrical, mechanical, and software components. • Attend design reviews and provide input to meet Market Requirement Specifications (MRS) and hardware/software specifications. • Coordinate with project marketing and management to understand system requirements. • Drive architecture brainstorming sessions and guide the process to finalize top-level system architecture. • Write detailed subsystem specifications, including interface diagrams using systems analysis. • Develop concepts for complex architectural design approaches. • Lead evaluations of architectures and recommend optimal system solutions. • Identify and troubleshoot complex engineering problems, including serviceability and manufacturability. • Support system integration during assembly and final testing of new product designs. • Interface with cross-functional teams to resolve design and integration issues. • Define and maintain equipment interfaces and systems architecture documentation. • Collaborate with vendors and key suppliers to develop competitive products. Required Skills • Strong controls background with servo/stage tuning and programming skills. • Experience with ETEL and ACS motion controllers (preferred). • Proficiency in Matlab, C/C++, and Python (preferred). Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field. • 7–10 years of relevant experience in systems control engineering.
