Hybrid work schedule! LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly organized and experienced Franchise / Corporate Governance Paralegal for a confidential client. This is an exciting opportunity to support a legal team focused on franchise operations, entity management, and corporate compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in franchise disclosure documents (FDDs), corporate governance, and multi-entity support.
This role is perfect for a paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable managing complex documentation and regulatory filings across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare, update, and file Franchise Disclosure Documents (FDDs) and related state registrations
• Assist with drafting and maintaining corporate governance documents, including bylaws, operating agreements, resolutions, and board consents
• Manage entity formation, annual reports, and compliance filings across multiple states
• Support franchise sales and renewals by coordinating with internal teams and external counsel
• Maintain corporate records and franchise databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Conduct legal research related to franchise and corporate law as needed
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a paralegal in franchise law, corporate governance, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of FDD preparation, franchise registration processes, and corporate compliance requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal entity management software
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment
Preferred Experience:
• Experience supporting franchise systems or multi-unit business models
• Familiarity with legal research tools and document management platforms
• Paralegal certificate or relevant legal training is a plus
Pay Details: $40.00 to $50.00 per hour
