MultiBank.io is the regulated cryptocurrency exchange under MultiBank Group, offering a user-friendly platform for instant, secure trading including Bitcoin, Ethereum and more. As we expand our offerings in the cryptocurrency space, we are seeking a Crypto Derivatives Trader to join the team.
Role Overview
The ideal candidate will focus on managing risk for institutional clients while driving trading strategies for crypto spot and derivatives products. This position requires a high level of expertise in both crypto and traditional derivatives, with a strong understanding of spot trading and settlement processes. The role will primarily involve trading activities with a focus on profitability and client growth, while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
• Manage and execute trading strategies focused on crypto spot and derivatives (including traditional assets) for institutional clients and principal risk during the overnight session.
• Focus on risk management, ensuring optimal execution strategies and mitigating potential risks associated with market fluctuations.
• Build and maintain relationships with institutional clients, identifying opportunities to increase profitability and grow trading volumes.
• Monitor market trends, price movements, and liquidity conditions to maximize profit opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Work closely with internal teams, including compliance, to ensure all trading activities are in line with regulatory and operational standards.
• Provide market insights, updates, and advice to clients regarding crypto and traditional derivatives, helping them navigate complex markets.
• Stay up-to-date on global crypto trends and regulatory changes, ensuring all trades meet compliance standards.
• Develop innovative trading solutions that address clients’ needs while ensuring strong risk management protocols are in place.
• Collaborate with product and development teams to provide feedback and assist with platform improvements for a better trading experience.
Qualifications
• 3-5 years of experience in crypto and traditional asset derivatives, with solid experience in crypto spot trading and settlement processes.
• Proven experience managing risk in a fast-paced trading environment, particularly for institutional clients.
• Strong understanding of the crypto market, including trends, liquidity, and price movements.
• Familiarity with trading platforms and execution tools commonly used in crypto and derivatives markets.
• Ability to work during the overnight session and weekends to manage institutional trading activities effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide insights and build relationships with high-level institutional clients.
• Experience in balancing profitability and client growth while maintaining a focus on risk management.
• Knowledge of compliance regulations related to crypto trading, though specific expertise is not required.
