Responsibilities
• • Mission-Critical DevOps & Automation
• Build, optimise and automate CI/CD pipelines for secure, on-prem environments.
• Support the full lifecycle of C4I platforms, including deployment, configuration, monitoring and hardening.
• Own configuration management using Infrastructure as Code practices.
• • Systems Engineering & Reliability
• Maintain highly available distributed systems supporting real-time operations.
• Drive observability best practices, logging, metrics and alerting.
• Ensure secure system operation in sensitive environments.
• • Security, Hardening & Compliance
• Apply STIG, CIS and defence-grade security baselines.
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance within restricted environments.
• Manage vulnerability remediation, patching and secure access control.
• • Collaboration & Technical Leadership
• Work closely with research, software and embedded engineering teams.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and cross-functional design reviews.
• Document processes and mentor junior engineers where needed.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or similar (mandatory requirement).
• 5+ years in DevOps, Systems Engineering or Platform Engineering.
• Strong experience with Linux, on-prem infrastructure, CI/CD, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Proven experience in secure or regulated environments.

Bonus Qualifications
• Experience in defence, C4I, aerospace or high-security environments.
• Certification in Linux, Kubernetes, DevOps or Security.
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash or Go.
