Job Summary As a Computer Vision Engineer, you will develop and implement advanced computer vision algorithms for use in real-time autonomous drone platforms. Your Key Responsibilities • Develop and implement advanced computer vision algorithms for use in real-time autonomous drone platforms. • Focus on tasks such as object detection, segmentation, depth estimation, and 3D scene understanding. • Tackle challenges around GPS-denied navigation, environmental variability, and constrained compute environments. • Translate cutting-edge academic research into robust, production-level systems. • Collaborate cross-functionally with robotics, software, and hardware teams to integrate and optimize solutions. • Contribute to both near-term deliverables and long-term infrastructure for scalable autonomy. • Evaluate and optimize model performance via techniques like model pruning and quantization to meet resource limits. What We Offer We offer a highly competitive salary range of $200,000 to $300,000 annually, depending on experience and fit, as well as equity in a high-growth startup. Requirements • 3+ years of experience in developing computer vision solutions, preferably for real-time or embedded systems. • Demonstrated success turning research into deployed production systems. • Proficiency in Python and C++, with strong knowledge of deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow). • Experience with real-world robotics applications such as UAVs, autonomous ground vehicles, or AR/VR systems.
